Liliana Avendaño is an educator, writer, and consultant with more than 10 years of experience in education, human development, and community leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and specializes in child development. She is committed to creating educational environments that promote holistic well-being, meaningful learning, and creative expression.
She is co-founder of Resplandor Cooperative Educational Center and holds a national CDA (Child Development Associate) credential in early childhood education. She has further complemented her training with specializations in emotional health, positive psychology, and emotional first aid, enabling her to integrate innovative approaches into both educational and organizational development processes.
As the author of the book “Mr. Book and the Silverfish,” Liliana expresses her passion for education through storytelling and creativity. Her professional experience includes training teaching teams, providing institutional support, and consulting for organizations and entrepreneurs, helping them implement projects focused on social impact, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Her human-centered vision, combined with a strategic and sustainable approach, has led her to collaborate with various institutions in developing transformative solutions aimed at advancing social and community development.
Rafael Larios Álvarez

Rafael Larios Álvarez is a Civil Engineer from Universidad Mariano Gálvez (UMG) and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Istmo (UNIS). With more than 35 years of experience in Guatemala’s electricity subsector, he has built a distinguished career in energy planning, regulatory affairs, project evaluation, and technical leadership.
He currently serves as Technical and Regulatory Coordinator at the Association of Renewable Energy Generators (AGER) and continues to provide specialized consulting services in energy planning and power commercialization.
